I often wonder why women look at every part of their body except the vaginal area. The face is examined for every blemish or wrinkle, the neck is examined for every fold or loose skin. the Ears are looked at as to whether they stick out or not. The breasts are evaluated for size and position, the abdomen is squizzed and pulled to evaluate its flatness or extra fat in it. Women look at their buttock and bemoan its descent or its size. Of course, the thighs, we cannot forget the thighs, they are criticized constantly-they stick out too much, they have cellulite, they stick out and in, they are bumpy or lumpy, mushy or wide, shapeless or too shapely with depressions. Of course the skin is massaged, squizzed, lasered, dermabraded, covered with creams, oils, powders, coverups, sun screens, rouge, makeup and billion dollars worth of stuff. Even the rectal area is talked about and evaluated as to the presence of hemorrhoids or tags. Soooo-what happened to the labia and the vagina? Why are they sooo ignored? The labia minora can be too big, the vagina too stretched and loose, the loose skin from the mons can totally cover the clitoris, the bladder can descent and cause stress incontinence, the labia majora can be very atrophic and loose, long or too plump, and the skin can have various pigmentation or irregularities, yet no one evaluates or talks about this publicly. Matter of fact most women find it embarrasing to look at themselves, or to admit that they did. Why is this so? Somehow, looking at ones own private parts has become a taboo for women. Yet, babies come from there and babies are born as a consequence of using that part to create them. Romance or attraction between sexes eventually culminates in sexual encounters which is all about the use of the private parts. So why it is so hard to talk and look at that area? Why do so many women feel it is ugly and do not want to look? Yet we can make the area pretty if we think it is ugly but most women do not know enough as to how it supposed to look to evaluate whether it should be improved. I think this should be changed, and the only way one will change it if we all talk about it and learn more about the female anatomy how it looks, and how it works and understand all the functions and reasons for malfunction. So this blog is for all the women who never looked, those that want to look and those that looked and want to know more about it.
