Facial Implants to enhance Cheeks, Chin and Lips
Facial Implants are a wonderful tool in making small adjustments to ones cheeks and/or lips that tend to make a huge difference in creating ideal facial harmony in a person’s natural features.
Cheek and Chin Implants
Whether or not we notice is consciously, full, defined cheeks are often a part of how we judge a person’s face. Cheek implants can have a significant impact on the appearance and self-confidence of patients whose cheeks have thinned or sunken due to age, illness or other causes.
Likewise, the chin helps provide harmony to the facial features. Often, patients come to the office desiring a smaller nose when, in fact, a chin augmentation provides a balance to the facial features.
Implant sizes and shapes to augment the cheek and chin are tailored to each patient’s desired appearance.
Lip Implants
In addition, Colen MD Plastic Surgeons also use implants to augment the lip vermillion border or to enhance the lip margin and to eliminate the small wrinkles just above the upper lip or below the lower lip. Implants can also be used to fill the nasolabial folds and deep depression between the nose and upper lip to correct the “flat lip” look or the “long nose” look.
