Dr. Stephen R. Colen has been performing plastic surgery for more than 25 years.
He is currently Associate Professor of Surgery and Plastic Surgery at New York University Medical Center’s prestigious Institute of Plastic Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center.
He is known as one of the best doctors for breast reconstructive surgery since developing the Immediate Breast Reconstruction Program at NYU Medical Center. The program uses surgical techniques to reconstruct the breast immediately after removal of breast cancer. This means that women can now wake from surgery with both the cancer removed and the breast reconstructed.
