Why Consider Vaginaplasty

Vaginaplasty

If you think that vaginaplasty is just another cosmetic procedure, you would only be partially correct. This is a procedure that many women have performed to enhance the appearance of this area of the body, but it also offers many health benefits as well. The vaginal muscles are tightened during the surgery, which can then benefit the control of the vagina and other structures.

The procedure is one that’s minimally invasive. It’s often performed to treat vaginal muscles that have become relaxed over time or after life events. Many women consider vaginaplasty after childbirth as the muscles are weakened during labor and delivery. It usually takes about two hours to complete the surgery. Most of the time, it can be performed using a laser so that the recovery is a bit more tolerable.

If you’re thinking about this procedure, you need to think about the goals that you have and the results that you desire. For many women, they have vaginaplasty in order to enhance their sexual experiences. The pleasure received during intercourse is often enhanced after vaginaplasty, which makes it a popular procedure for women who are older and have found that they have lost their desire for having sex or find that it’s painful to have sex with a partner.

During vaginaplasty, the diameter of the vagina is reduced. The muscles are also tightened. Once the healing process is complete, you’ll usually notice an increase in friction in this area of your body, which allows for a better experience during intercourse. Bladder control is another reason to have this procedure performed. If there is a significant amount of scarring, then it can result in menstrual products not staying in place or a loss of control of your bladder.

There are a few different methods of performing the procedure. The most comfortable and the one that is often used involves a laser. There is no need for a scalpel to be used when a laser is used, which means that you’ll be a bit more comfortable during recovery. It can also shorten the recovery time. Aside from sexual pleasure, you might want to consider vaginaplasty if you’ve had cervical cancer or other types of cancer involving your reproductive system. After the surgery, you’ll usually notice that you’ve gained the youthful feeling that you once had and that you feel better about your appearance.
