Many women when they grow older, or after multiple pregnancies and deliveries, or after massive weight loss feel that everything is hanging and falling down. They have no confidence that they look attractive to others and their relationships with spouses, loved ones and even friends deteriorate. Depression sets in and sometimes hopelessness. Many withdraw and some give vibes of beeing worthless which in turn may lead to becoming victims of verbal abuse. In conversations many people will comment that it is what inside you that counts and not outward appearance. However, these statements do not make those that suffer feel any better. The minute one sees a movie, reads a magazine, youth and good looks stare us in the face. We all see that older actresses cannot get parts and many women as they age loose jobs in sales. People do not like seeing women get older in front of their eyes esp in the media. In order to be happy and positive, function well in our society and be desired socially either as a guest at a party or sexually by a partner confidence is a must. One should consider speaking with a physician about which areas are troublesome. Today cosmetic surgery is safe and has great results. Any area can be improved and many people do very well postoperatively especially if they find a good doctor. Vaginal rejuvenation, labiaplasty, mons reduction, tummytucks, buttock lifts all can make one feel younger and more confident. Of course facelifts, breast lifts also are procedures that many women opt for. Even good skin care, and lasers for skin rejuvenations are great. Many women remove veins from their legs by either lasers or injections, and many remove age spots as well. Liposuction is available and any repairs for stress urinary incontinence can be all done at same time. Some women even opt to have vaginal tightening, or rectocoele’s repaired. Of ten all this is done by a plastic surgeon in conjunction with a gynecologist. It is not longer great to have great breasts after a lift or augmentation or reduction and have hypertrophic labia minora and overstretched vaginal area. Today with the Brazilian waxing, tight clothing and exercise clothing that many women wear genital aging becomes more obvious. Women should know their anatomy and understand what is happening. Vaginal dryness should also be addressed especially around menopause. Confidence is a must, and if one sees it slipping away, do not just watch it happen, but do something about it. There is nothing wrong with tending to all parts of the body. They are all undergoing wear and tear, and aging and changes. nothing is exempt. One, however, needs to identify the area that is aging the most. The area that does not seem to “fit how I feel” that means -it looks older than I feel. Well then make it look how you feel and then confidence will come back and fulfillment will follow.
