I had a mommy makeover (breast aug, tummy tuck and lipo) performed by Stephen Colen, MD in March 2010. Honestly, it was life changing for me – after the birth of my child I was extremely unhappy with my appearance, everything just went south. I am an active and fit individual but sadly not everything bounced back after childbirth. I did my research and met with several renowned doctors in NYC. Once I stepped into Dr. Colen’s office I knew I had reached a decision. The staff was warm and responsive. Dr. Colen patiently explained all my options and graciously answered all my questions – and I had alot of them! The pre-surgical requirements were thoroughly explained to me and I was well prepared on the day of surgery. Everyone at the office was very attentive to me and made sure I was well taken care of before, during and after surgery. I now look in the mirror and (honestly) stare at the new me – I’m thrilled with the results – and (haha) so is my husband! I know exactly where I am going for any further cosmetic needs and would highly recommend this practice. -A

You have enabled me to get on with my life without having to think about how I look – I look like myself, only better! I don’t look 20 years old. The office environment is very calm/serene, just as you’d want it to be when you’re coming in for something as stressful as surgery. The front desk staff is wonderful, and I can’t say enough about Tara and Dr. Colen. They are warm, caring, funny, and put you at ease right away. They thoroughly answer all of your questions, and Tara makes herself available 24/7. What can I say! Dr. Colen is a genius. I decided to have BR after enduring years of back, neckm and shoulder pain caused by a size 42G boobs. On meeting Dr. Colen she went through the procedure with me, in a professional and feminine manner. More importantly allayed my fear if surgery. My new boobs are now a wonderful and perfect size 38C, and my best female feature. I am also so pleased and satisfied with the results and my professional consultations with Dr Colen. I have gained tremendous self confidence and have lost 38 pounds since the surgery. I can now exercise without feeling self conscious and wear clothes that finally fit without bursting at the chest! My only regret: I should have done this years ago! I am living a new life now! If anyone out there is thinking of BR, I highly recommend Dr. Colen’s practice. Dr. Colen, I just wanted to say thank you for the surgery you performed on me last spring. I’ve been meaning to write you for quite a while but the time kept getting the better of me!
