There are a couple of different surgical techniques which may be used in breast reduction such as:
- the Inverted T-Incision,
- the Vertical Incision,
- the Free Nipple Graft and Liposuction.

Short-Scar Breast Reduction
More recently the Short-Scar Breast Reduction has gained in popularity for the appropriate breast. This surgery gives a perkier breast with significant medial fullness but without the longer incision that was needed for breast reduction.
