Liquid Rhinoplasty via Dermal Fillers New Jersey

The shape and size of the nose can make a major difference in the appearance of a person’s appearance. An asymmetrical or out of proportion nose can completely unbalance the overall look of the face. For severely asymmetrical or out of proportion noses, surgical rhinoplasty can make a huge difference in a person’s appearance, social life, and career. However, rhinoplasty is major surgery. Many people with minor nasal imperfections have recently been considering liquid rhinoplasty.

What is Liquid Rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty uses injections of dermal fillers to disguise minor imperfections of the nose. Bumps, minor asymmetries of the nasal bone, and other cosmetic problems can be quickly and easily fixed by injections of dermal fillers to smooth, refine, and improve the appearance of the nose.

What is a Dermal Filler?

A dermal filler is a substance injected under the skin to provide volume. There are different types of fillers; currently, the most popular is hyaluronic acid gel. Hyaluronic acid is an all-natural component normally found in the skin, and, therefore, it has a close to zero rate of allergic reactions and other adverse events. Since it is a gel, it does not form lumps and bumps, instead providing a very natural look and feel. The choice of filler for a liquid rhinoplasty can be made during discussions between the patient and our expert.

What is the Procedure Like?

The procedure typically takes only minutes. During the treatment, the filler of choice is carefully injected. The exact location of the injection depends on the shape of the nose and the desired results. Improvement of the nose’s appearance occurs immediately. Recovery time and side effects are minimal; patients can typically return to their usual activities immediately after treatment.

Can it Replace Rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty cannot completely replace surgical rhinoplasty. A liquid rhinoplasty can improve minor imperfections of the nose, but it cannot significantly change the size of any part of the nose, cannot significantly change the shape of the tip, and cannot correct a deviated septum. However, it can quickly and easily improve many aspects of the nose.
