I ran across a story on the Internet the other day that I thought I’d share with you. Not that there are many porn stars reading this site. . . I just thought it was interesting.
Jenna Jameson, it seems, is not happy with her recent experience with a cosmetic surgeon. In case you don’t recognize the name, she’s a star in more than a hundred XXX porn videos. By most accounts, she’s a gorgeous blond who does well in the romance department–and whom many of her acquaintances accuse of being a bit fussy and vain.
Ms. Jameson recently requested a vaginoplasty from a Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon, but was not satisfied following the operation. In fact, as of this writing, she was said to be holed up at her home, unwilling to work or even speak to anyone (including her own producer).
Since Ms. Jameson is not commenting much about the operation, it’s not clear what her complaint is. However, speculation is that she has had so many sexual encounters that it was difficult for even a skilled cosmetic surgeon to return her vaginal area to its former state (meaning the condition it was in before starting her film career).
This all sounds humorous–and I suppose it is–but there is a lesson to be learned here. While vaginoplasty is a helpful procedure for most patients who request it, one must have realistic expectations. For most patients, it can return the vagina to a condition and tightness resembling its condition when the lady was younger, and perhaps before she had children. Still, nothing is 100 percent, and this includes nearly all forms of cosmetic surgery. Remember: Whether it’s a face-lift, a tummy tuck or a vaginoplasty, what you’re likely to get is an improvement–not a miracle.
