Incredible experience with Dr. Colen and her staff. I was running late due to a prior appointment and thought I had missed mine with Dr. Colen. As I walked through the door in utter stress a warm smiling Dr. Colen and her staff helped me to recompose relax and know that I wasn't just another patient but that I was very important and whatever time they needed to help me process my consultation they were going to make it happen. I grasp that not only is Dr. Colen has a very warm demeanor and disposition, as does her entire staff, and that makes me feel confident in my decision to move forward with a challenging decision for reconstruction after a double mastectomy. I am aware this will be a journey and each step of the way, I already feel I have a great team of support behind me.

I had been debating breast augmentation for a while after having my twins and when they turned 3 I decided to start the process of really looking into having it done. I had made a few consultation appointments - with Dr. Helen Colen being the first one. Well, she wound up being the first and last one I consulted with. She got me from the moment she walked into the room. It was literally like she read my mind on what I was looking for. She walked me through the process and just chatted about life in general. I felt comfortable and confident with her immediately. It was one of the best doctor experiences I have had. She didn't rush...wasn't trying to sell me on it. Gave me the pros and cons...told me what she thought and why. I went home processed what we discussed and called to make an appointment for the surgery. The next week I went into the operating room and a year and a half later it was one of the best decisions I ever made. After the surgery I must have reached out to her 100 times with various questions..."I am experiencing this...is it normal"..."wait...was I supposed to do this or that"...."Are you sure this is normal..."She never once seemed annoyed or bothered by my questions and always answered them timely (she has been doing this for a long time and it shows in the best of ways). I went with saline implants and the results are beyond amazing. I get compliments all the time about how great they look and then when I tell them I got augmentation they are shocked...that is how natural they look and feel. Dr. Colen is a Rockstar. She knows her stuff, period.

It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Helen. She has always taken the time to answer my questions, thoroughly explaining my healing/recovery process. I\'m so happy with my decision to trust her with my procedure, and I\'m also thrilled with the results!

I found the experience to be stress free and very pleasant considering what I was there for. I waited 30 minutes because doctor was delayed in surgery at the hospital. I appreciated the assistance by the staff in assisting me with the new patient questions since I have muscular degeneration.

Dr. Helen was in surgery; I had been told she would be so wasn\'t surprised we couldn\'t get started on time.

Everything was great - people, facilities, friendliness, cleanliness... The wait times were the only issue, but I do appreciate that Dr. Helen had time for me once it was my turn.

All in all I had a very pleasant experience. Everyone at the office was friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable.

But the wait was somewhat due to back up from the hurricane. My appointment date was kept, the time was pushed back. Overall, I am very happy with the service there. And the staff was friendly and helpful.

I found Dr. Helen Colen pleasant yet confident and to the point, answering my questions with compassion and honesty. She went through my medical and surgical history unhurried and found a solution to problems I've had for many years. She is kind and gentle yet sharp and direct. I left knowing I was in expert hands.

The office environment is very calm/serene, just as you would want it to be when you are coming in for something as stressful as surgery. The front desk staff is wonderful, and I can not say enough about Tara and Dr. Colen. They are warm, caring, funny, and put you at ease right away. They thoroughly answer all of your questions, and Tara makes herself available 24/7. I am only on day 2, but so far it has been a wonderful (and far less stressful) experience thanks to the team at Dr. Colens office.

My consultation was with Helen Colen. Dr Colen spent more than an hour with me. She explained every aspect of the procedure I was asking about. I booked it and a few days later when I recieved the pre op information I began to worry about it. I emailed Dr Colen. Despite the Thanksgiving weekend, Dr Colen answered all my concerns in the email exchange. She is a fine, skilled and caring doctor. The BEST!
